:: About the Center

The setting up of the Information Center for Women and Children  is considered as one of the vital projects which the Children and Mother Welfare Society has been seeking to establish as part of its efforts to meet existing requirements and to provide badly needed services. The Center is considered as an information network that will serve the Kingdom of  Bahrain and GCC states with a view to providing information, data and publications relevant to children and women in the region.

:: Center Objectives

8 Establishing an integrated automated information system in the area of woman and child welfare and related matters. The should have its distinctive features and has the ability to adapt and to be compatible with local and international systems as well as the new and advanced systems to be subsequently introduced

 8 Co-operating with the local authorities in the Kingdom of Bahrain and with the Arab and international government and non-government organizations, agencies, banks and information networks to support the system and to provide the necessary capability to handle information received from such agencies and to provide data in the required form and substance

 8 Providing a developed service to beneficiaries in Bahrain and the Arabian Gulf region to enable them to acquire the necessary data through media and facilities confirming with the most sophisticated systems available on the international level
