:: A brief on the late Sh. Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa

Sh. Khalifa was born in August 1947, a holder of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from American University in Lebanon and Wesam Al Fateh of September from Libya.

He participated in many activities in the International Labor Organization and OPEC in addition to many conferences. He has numerous publications of which the development of Oil Industry in Bahrain, Development of Human Resources in Bahrain and series of articles on Development of National Skills, are only examples.

::  Award's Objectives

The main aim of the award is to encourage the local and regional Arab researches to do studies related to issues concerning women and children with a view to cure the shortage in the availability of studies which can be depended upon in outlining the actual state women and children

The Award name had been assigned the late Sh. Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa name's in honor of numerous accomplishments he achieved in the field of social work.
